Managing EU-Funded Projects with PM²: Event Highlights from Brussels
The EU Training Lab and Pracsis, in collaboration with the PM² Alliance and the PM² Foundation , hosted an inspiring evening on Managing EU-Funded Projects with PM² at the Fondation Universitaire in Brussels. The event combined expert insights, networking, and the official launch of the EU Training Lab, a new initiative dedicated to advancing excellence in European project management.
Bernhard von Mach, founder of the EU Training Lab, opened the evening by stressing the need to equip professionals with the right mindset and tools for EU programmes like Horizon Europe and Erasmus+. Giuseppe Massimiliano Bellia, the Lab’s Academic Lead, outlined its mission to bridge theory and practice in EU project delivery.
The special occasion for this high-level gathering was the presentation of the newly published PM² Addendum by the author Nicos Kourounakis. Nicos Kourounakis presented how PM² goes beyond templates promoting a shared language that strengthens collaboration, governance, and results.
An expert panel featuring representatives from the European Instituions and the PM² Alliance explored how PM² and its Addendum improve project design, implementation, and sustainability.
The evening concluded with a lively reception, celebrating the growing community of professionals committed to smarter, more collaborative EU project management.
