Registration open for CommNet’s 3rd Bioeconomy Forum and Final Conference

PRACSIS expertise goes beyond energy and environment to hit other top economic sectors such as the bioeconomy. Today the bioeconomy and its various sectors already employ over 22 million people in Europe with an annual turnover of EUR 2 trillion.

PRACSIS is a member of the EU-funded project CommNet whose objective is to bridge the gap between science and industry through targeted communication activities. CommNet’s annual bioeconomy forum brings together researchers, policy officers and industry players. Business and policy dialogues—designed by PRACSIS—foster interaction between bioeconomy stakeholders to maximise cooperation and market uptake of new bioeconomy products.

CommNet’s 3rd Bioeconomy Forum and Final Conference will take place in Brussels on 2 and 3 December at the Hotel Crowne Plaza - Le Palace. PRACSIS has built an appealing programme with high level speakers from EU institutions and research institutes across the EU. In the spotlight will be six bioeconomy projects in the sectors of forestry, bioplastics and health and wellbeing. A special edition of CommNet’s Innovation Catalogue will be distributed for the occasion. It will be available for download on www.commnet.eu.

An Awards ceremony recognising the best achievements in ‘communicating the bioeconomy’ will close the event.
