The EU SWITCH to Green Flagship Initiative, DEVCO

Aim of the project

SWITCH to Green works with various EU actors to enhance international progress towards green transition. Through technical assistance, including information and capacity building, the SWITCH to Green Facility assists EU Delegations and Directorates in effecting an inclusive green economy.

Services provided by Pracsis

  • Mapping of relevant EU and non EU activities and initiatives: Development of the EU IGE projects map tool (interactive map on www.switchtogreen.eu)

  • Supporting the organisation of policy and learning events with EU development partners: (Co-) organisation of SWITCH annual coordination meetings (A-Z organisation of the events) and other events with SWITCH regional programmes and development partners, such as SWITCH events at the EU Development Days

  • Organisation of coordination meetings with Switch partners

  • Organisation of the Switch side event at the High Level Political UN Forum on sustainable development in New York, USA (July 2018)

  • Organisation of lab session events at European Development Days (2017,2018)

  • Elaboration of a S2Green Communication Strategy

  • Elaboration of a S2Green Visual Identity

  • Launching and updating of the S2Green Website

  • Compilation of selected lessons learned and replicable initiatives from EU domestic experience

  • Producing knowledge and communication products, including multimedia products: Production of e-publications on the SWITCH Flagship / EU green economy cooperation portfolio, co-production and dissemination of joint newsletter on environmental themes (mainstreaming, biodiversity, green economy, forestry, climate change)
