ManagEnergy hits the road - October Tour 2014
Since 2002 ManagEnergy has been supporting local and regional energy agencies across Europe. Spreading good energy management practices, improving skills through capacity building workshops and showcasing the very best projects from local and regional stakeholders has been central to its mission. Twelve years later, ManagEnergy still is an essential European Commission initiative to support local and regional actors in achieving the EU’s ambitious 2020 energy and climate targets.
October will be a busy month for the PRACSIS team in charge of ManagEnergy. Several events will be organised to discuss policy developments, financial mechanisms and ground-breaking projects in the fields of sustainable energy and clean transport. These are:
Venice 1 October: Supporting cycling for liveable cities.
Brussels 6 October: Legislation and financing for community-owned renewable energy across Europe.
Brussels 8 October: Innovative financing for energy efficiency and renewables.
Brussels 9 October: The energy transition at local level.
Copenhagen 23-24 October: Local policies, science and advocacy for cycling.
