PRACSIS promotes financing for energy efficiency in Ireland

On 28 September, PRACSIS organized its fourth public event for Sustainable Energy Investment Forums, the European Commission programme that aims to boost financing for energy efficiency in EU member states.

The event took place in Dublin at the Clontarf Castle Hotel and was organized for the European Commission in partnership with the UN Environment Finance Initiative, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, the UK’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, and Ireland’s Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment.

PRACSIS was responsible for logistics, PR, and press relations for the event, which gathered Irish and British project developers, public authorities, banks, and other players from the finance sector interested in sustainable energy investment.

The event had 23 speakers and was attended by more than 80 people, with plenaries as well as smaller breakout sessions for more in depth discussion. Presentations from the conference can be viewed here.
