Registration is open for the next European Forum on Eco-innovation, DG Environment’s leading event for the promotion and market development of green technologies. The Catalan capital will host the 18th edition of the forum, focusing on the benefits of environmental labelling, management and information schemes for the competitiveness of European businesses.

With over 20 years’ experience as a Professional Congress Organiser, PRACSIS is in charge of the whole event organisation, from selecting the venue to on-site coordination, speaker invitations and facilitating travel and accommodation arrangements. The PRACSIS graphic team and digital marketers are ensuring the event’s branding and promotion is making an impact online. PRACSIS press team has also been mobilised to ensure that the event is widely covered by high-quality general and specialised media across the EU.

Participants will receive the latest information about the Ecolabel and Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) evaluations and will have the opportunity to attend the EMAS Awards ceremony 2015 which rewards the very best performing companies among those committed to monitor and enhance their environmental performance.  The first technologies with performance claims verified by Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) system will be under the spotlight. A business-to-business matchmaking session will allow private companies to find the right partners for new professional adventures.

The retail industry will be very well represented in Barcelona. Their annual meeting point is the Retail Forum for sustainability and will take place Thursday 21 May in the afternoon.

Almost 100 participants have registered in the first 48h.
