CASP kicks off

In April, Pracsis and Ernst & Young organized seven kickoff meetings in Brussels for their new framework contract on consumer product safety, managed by CHAFEA, the Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency of the European Commission.

The meetings gathered market surveillance authorities and other product safety experts from several EU countries to discuss five different product safety categories, risk assessment processes, and plans for the future of the project, which includes carrying out safety tests on real-world products.

For the next four years, Pracsis will be responsible for all event logistics as well as communicating and disseminating the outcome of the project activities to all relevant stakeholders.

Pracsis and EY are now organizing a series of knowledge sharing and lab visits in several EU countries that will take place before the new year.
