| Aim of the project: | The European Seveso II Directive (1996) aims to prevent
accident hazards involving dangerous substances. In the framework
of the directive, Member States are required to proactively campaign
to inform citizens about the major risks of living in the vicinity
of chemical industries, as well as security and prevention measures
to take in case of an alert situation. PRACSIS was responsible for the implementation of the PR campaign in Belgium including 60 events, and developed its communication strategy for the Belgian Ministry of Home Affairs. |
