Castors d'or / Gouden Bevers
A Brussels urban space project competition

Client: Ministry of Brussels-Capital Region
Services/Activities: Events, Media relations
Duration of project: 2003-2004-2005
Aim of the project: The Castors d'Or/Gouden Bevers contest aims to reward students in architecture and urbanism for their ideas and vision for the Brussels region in terms of public space management, through an annual project award competition.

The competition is a call for ideas that challenge designers of tomorrow, at an early stage in their development, with the complexity and richness of the public space in Brussels. In addition, public space policies in Brussels are enriched with new and fresh visions of young designers.

  • Organisation of pre-information meeting with students and professors;
  • Liaising with professors and promoting the competition;
  • Design and printing of communication tools such as posters, award, brochure;
  • Media relations with general and specialised press;
  • Organisation of competition and award ceremony.
